Each installation includes a free administrator license. Therefore, for small installations with a single administrator, only additional Thin or Power user licenses are needed.

Named licenses are assigned to a single account-name and may only be used by this account. Each account with a named license may only be logged in once at the same time. Named licenses are always available for the assigned account and guarantee a login for the user. Changing the assigned license from one to another account is possible and will not be charged.

Concurrent licenses may be shared between an unlimited number of users. The number of installed floating licenses is the maximum possible number of users (not assigned to named licenses) working with the server at the same time.

Thin users can use the instantOLAP portal to view dashboards and pivot-table, export them to different formats as pdf, excel or csv.

Power users have all the capabilities of Thin Users and can additionally build dashboards and pivot tables with the portal or Workbench. Also, a number of collaboration-features like uploading documents, sending or subscribing reports as mail etc. are available.

Administrators have all the capabilities of Power users and may additionally administrate the system and create configurations.
